Andrew Dear, CMCA, CAM

General Manager

Andrew Dear, a veteran hospitality leader with more than 20 years at Marriott International, oversees residential operations and service programming for the property. Dear, who hails from England, joins The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Naples following a distinguished series of leadership roles across Marriott International’s luxury portfolio in Europe and the Caribbean. Most recently, he served as Residences General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Turks & Caicos Islands, where he oversaw residential operations for the luxury oceanfront community. Prior to that, he held leadership roles at the Grand Cayman Marriott Beach Resort and completed several international task force assignments supporting the launch and operations of properties across the Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, and Marriott brands.

Julia Curcio

Senior Residences Manager

In her role as Senior Residences Manager, Julia Curcio oversees day-to-day residential operations, leading owner programming and hospitality initiatives— creating personalized residential experiences designed around each owner’s individual lifestyle and preferences. Curcio joins The Residences after serving in leadership positions at The Ritz-Carlton Orlando, Grande Lakes, where she led the Front Office team during one of the property’s most celebrated eras. Under her direction, the resort became the first—and remains the only—Ritz-Carlton hotel in Florida to earn Forbes Travel Guide’s prestigious Five-Star designation, reflecting the team’s unwavering commitment to excellence and the brand’s Gold Standards. Prior to this, Curcio held top roles with JW Marriott properties in Orlando and Arkansas.

Indrajit “Chef Inder” Suryawanshi

Executive Chef

Chef Inder leads the property’s culinary program, creating dining experiences centered on seasonal ingredients, local partnerships, and personalized service for residents. He joins The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Naples following a distinguished culinary career spanning luxury properties throughout the United States, the Middle East, and India. Most recently, he served as Executive Chef of JW Marriott Clearwater Beach Resort & Spa, where he led culinary operations for the award-winning waterfront resort. Prior to that, he held executive leadership roles at JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, Marriott Grand St. Louis, MGM National Harbor, Marriott Marquis Washington, D.C., Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, and JW Marriott Dubai.

Chris Engler

Director of Engineering

Chris Engler brings more than 20 years of engineering leadership in luxury hospitality, with extensive expertise in life safety, regulatory compliance, asset protection, capital planning, sustainability, and emergency preparedness. Engler joins The Residences from The Ritz-Carlton Naples, Tiburón, where he served as Chief Engineer, leading all engineering operations. Prior to this role, he spent more than 15 years with The Ritz-Carlton Resort, Naples, advancing through multiple engineering leadership positions and building a strong reputation for operational excellence and team development. Engler earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Florida Gulf Coast University and maintains numerous professional certifications across engineering, safety, and facility operations.

Curts Gaines Hall Jones Architects is one of the leading architectural design and planning firms in the Southeast. President and CEO Robert Hall will lead the project, and he has completed over 50 luxury high-rise and mid-rise residential and mixed use projects throughout Florida, since 1975.

Cristian Pinedo is an award-winning interior architect. He is the founder of SUSURRUS, an international hospitality design firm.
